Official Contest Rules

Version 1 — October 13, 2026

Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not sponsors of, and are not involved in any way with, this contest or its prizes. Apple and Google are not responsible for the contest or any prizes awarded.

These rules apply to every prize competition in Reviewlution — on the website and in the iOS and Android apps. That means the tournaments, the one-day side quests and the milestone races (The Climb summit and the Around the World lap). Each competition's own page shows its dates, prizes, number of winners and scoring rule; where a board's page differs from these rules, these rules prevail — except that each board's page sets its own dates, prizes, number of winners and scoring rule. Weekly leagues, duels, badges and chests award in-app XP and items only and are not prize competitions.

1. Sponsor

Every competition is organized, run and paid for by Eduble Startup Inc. of #4 Fr. JL Bates, Bgy. 14 – Ilawod Pob. (Ilawod 2), City of Legazpi 4500, Philippines. Questions about these rules: chris.belga@eduble.ph.

2. Who can enter and win

  • You must be 18 or older and a resident of the Philippines. Before paying a prize we may ask the winner to confirm their age and residency (for example with a valid government ID); a winner who cannot is not eligible, and the prize goes to the next eligible player.
  • Anyone can play and appear on a board, including guests. To receive a prize you need a Reviewlution account with a verified email address. If a guest or unverified account finishes in a prize place, that prize goes to the next eligible player in the standings.
  • One account per person. Prizes are paid only to the person who holds the winning account.
  • Employees of Eduble Startup Inc. and the members of their immediate families and households cannot win a prize. “Immediate family” means a spouse, parent, child or sibling; the same applies to anyone living in their household and to contractors who write or review questions or run the competitions.
  • Winner cooldown (when a board has it switched on, which its page says): a tournament winner can play the next tournament but cannot win its prize; a side quest winner cannot win another side quest prize for 7 days. In each case the prize goes to the next eligible player. In each milestone race, a person can win only once.

3. How to enter — free, no purchase necessary

No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or to win, and nothing you can buy changes your chances. Reviewlution is free to use. You enter a tournament or side quest automatically by playing qualifying rounds during its dates — there is no sign-up step. You enter a milestone race by reaching its milestone (topping out The Climb, or finishing an Around the World lap).

4. How winners are decided — by skill, never by chance

Winners are decided only by the scoring rule shown on each competition's page. There are two:

  • Most XP: the total XP you earn in qualifying play between the board's start and end times (Philippine time; the start is included, the end is not). XP comes from correct answers in rounds; a board can also count only “all subjects, any difficulty” rounds, which its page says. XP you earn during the window from daily quests, chests and inviting friends also counts.
  • Best Sudden Death streak: your single best Sudden Death run (most correct answers in a row) during the board's dates.

Ties are broken in this order: (1) for Sudden Death boards, the faster total answering time; (2) whoever reached the tied score first; (3) if still tied, a fixed, impartial order by account.

Milestone races go in the order players first reach the milestone — the moment of the answer that crossed it. Each race page shows how many places carry a prize.

Some boards are limited to one exam, or to players whose school is in a stated area; the board's page says so. Only answers checked by our servers count.

5. Dates, prizes and number of winners

Each competition's page lists its start and end times (Philippine time), its prizes, and how many players win (up to 10 places for a tournament or side quest).

Daily side quest: one side quest runs each day (Philippine time) and pays one winner ₱100, sent by GCash. This is the only competition that runs on a regular schedule. Tournaments run occasionally, when we announce them; each one's page states its dates, prizes and number of winners before it starts. Milestone races show their prizes, if any, on their pages.

Prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred or substituted, except by us if a listed prize becomes unavailable.

6. Claiming a prize

  • After a competition closes, we review the standings, then email each winner at their account's verified address.
  • To claim, reply within 7 days of that email by messaging the official Reviewlution Facebook page with a screenshot of the winner email you received. We check it against our records, and may ask for more to confirm you are the account holder. A prize not claimed within 7 days may be forfeited and may go to the next eligible player.
  • Cash prizes are sent through GCash to an account in the winner's own name — usually the same day, and always within 3 days, of your claim being confirmed, unless something outside our control delays it (for example a GCash outage).
  • Winners are responsible for any taxes on their prize.

7. Fair play and disqualification

Our servers check every round. A round that looks implausible — for example, a large share of correct answers given far faster than a person can read them, near-perfect accuracy on many never-seen questions, or play that runs for most of a day — is flagged and earns no competition credit while a person reviews it. If the review clears it, the credit comes back; if it confirms a problem, the credit stays withheld.

We may disqualify a player from a competition, or adjust a score with a recorded reason, for cheating, using more than one account, sharing an account, automated play, exploiting a bug, or breaking our Terms. We may withhold a prize where we reasonably suspect fraud or a breach of these rules. If you believe a decision about you is wrong, email chris.belga@eduble.ph within 7 days of the results; we will review it and reply, and our decision after that review is final.

8. Privacy

We use your account and play data to run the competitions and pay winners, as our Privacy Policy explains. Players' display names and ranks appear on the standings other players see. Winners agree that their display name may be shown as a winner. Prize payout records are kept as tax law requires, even after an account is deleted.

9. Changes, cancellation and liability

We may change, pause or cancel a competition if something outside fair play affects it — for example a technical fault, an error in a board's setup, or fraud — and we will say so on its page. Prizes already earned under the rules before a change are honoured. We may update these rules; the version and date at the top of this page show the current rules, and taking part after an update means you accept it.

To the extent the law allows, Eduble Startup Inc. is not liable for lost, late or failed entries, network or device problems, or errors outside its reasonable control, and its total liability for any competition is limited to the value of the prize concerned.

10. Governing law

These rules are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute is subject to the courts of the City of Legazpi.
